DAVID BARSKY
Dirty Jobs (2005 - 2012)

THEN: Dirty Jobs fans know Dave Barsky well. In fact, if any are reading this right now they are probably hearing, "BARSKY!!!!!" in Mike Rowe's voice. But even non-viewers can imagine this man's challenge: as producer, Barsky had to manage extremely unpredictable situations and -- after only a few hours of shooting -- walk away with enough footage to make a cohesive segment for the show.

Oh, and he had to do all this with Mike Rowe as his star.

Barsky started as Dirty Jobs field producer in 2005, and by 2012, he was co-executive producer -- and frequent on-screen character. But what people may not know is Barsky's non-Dirty-Jobs relationship with Discovery Channel: he served as producer on both American Chopper and American Hot Rod in 2004, and supervising producer on Airplane Repo from 2010 to 2011. Right?!

NOW: In 2012, Barsky became co-executive producer of the History series Big Shrimpin', which chronicled three longtime shrimpers from Bayou La Batre, Ala., and then moved on to supervising producer of TruTV's Storage Hunters, which followed the exploits of husband and wife team Brandon and Lori Bernier. In 2013, Barsky became executive producer of Travel Channel's Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, returning him to the status of frequent flier ... and strange-situation manager.

And, yes, he's still friends with Mike Rowe.
