Surprise by Design (2002 - 2004)

THEN: By the time Robert Verdi was asked to host Discovery Channel's Surprise by Design in 2002, he had already decorated comedian and actress Sandra Bernhard's apartment, planned fashion designer Cynthia Rowley's wedding, and hosted Metro TV's Full Frontal Fashion, a behind-the-scenes guide to the New York fashion industry. And no wonder: Robert's sense of style -- and sense of humor -- made him a fan favorite and stand-out on the reality network at the time most known for its documentaries about dinosaurs and sharks.

NOW: Since Surprise by Design, Robert Verdi has been a constant figure in the world of fashion. His TV roles include host of E! Entertainment Television's Fashion Police, judge on TV Land's She's Got the Look, and subject of Logo's The Robert Verdi Show Starring Robert Verdi. He also served as guest on a variety of talk and news programs such as The View, Live with Regis & Kelly, The Today Show and the Wendy Williams Show, and cameoed as himself in The Devil Wears Prada and the documentary September Issue.

But that's not all -- Robert has also continued to style celebrities, including Eva Longoria, Hugh Jackman, Kristen Wiig and young starlet Sami Gayle. In 2014, Robert Verdi launched Great Bag Co., the fashion industry's latest "it" bag. But perhaps best of all, in March 2015 TLC announced their new series Brides Gone Styled, to be co-hosted by none other than ... Robert Verdi. Stay tuned for its premiere later this year!
