There's a new internet celebrity at Myakka Pines Golf Club in Englewood, Florida. The only catch? He's an alligator.

The massive 13-foot-long amphibian has been spotted on numerous occasions throughout the golf course. Golfers were quick to snap photographs, which have since gone viral on the club's Facebook page.

For the members at the club, alligators are old news. In an interview with the New York Daily News, General Manager Mickie Zada explained that a 15-foot-long alligator affectionately dubbed "Big George" called the club home for a decade until his recent death.

"We get 'em that big. We are known for our alligators. The wildlife is prolific," Zada explained. "They don't bother people, as long as people stay away from them."

Although Zada is not phased by the gator, the Internet has gone wild. The story is receiving international coverage.
