Lest we ever forget how truly powerful she is, Mother Nature decided to flex her muscles in an Alabama park over the weekend.

After heavy storms dropped a staggering 20 inches of rain in 24 hours, the swollen Noccalula Falls exploded into a dazzling show of natural bravado, as captured by local drone photographer Micah Davis:

For comparison's sake, the 90-foot waterfall is noticeably less monstrous on nearly every other day of the year:

The falls are the centerpiece of the eponymous Noccalula Falls Park, located in Gadsden, Alabama. According to the city of Gadsden's website, the park also sports a gorge trail, which takes visitors "past caves, an aboriginal fort, an abandoned dam, pioneer homestead, and Civil War carvings."
