The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium welcomed three baby male tigers into the world on Tuesday morning. Born to first-time mother Irisa, the precious cubs all weigh less than 3 pounds.

Presently, the cubs are being incubated in the facility's Animal Health Center. Although they were initially living in their zoo habitat, they were moved when their mother failed to nurse them. They will receive visitors at a later date.

This birth is a major win for tiger conservationists: according to the zoo, there are fewer than 400 of the critically endangered Siberian tigers in the wild. Including the three cubs, the Columbus Zoo is now home to ten Siberian tigers.
