Learn more about dolphins:

A tour captain in Tampa Bay, Fla. says he knows what music the dolphins of his aquatic neighborhood prefer -- the instrumental work of a famed Greek-American composer.

It turns out the playful marine mammals love "Yanni Live at the Acropolis," Bay News 9 reports. They're also into swing music.

The captain, Larry Salkin, tells the station that when he plays those musical selections, the dolphins on his sightseeing tour route draw closer to his boat, and they're not interested in other music tracks he's tried.

Apparently, there's just something about Yanni's music.

"I don't know if it's the high pitch of the violin and the pace," he told the station. "I don't know what it is in it, but there's something that catches their attention that they really enjoy."

Reporters with the station witnessed the animals swimming closer to his vessel once Yanni began playing.
