Conservationist Jeff Corwin caught a stingray so large that he may have set a new world record. Weighing in at nearly 800 pounds, the 14-foot creature could be the largest freshwater fish ever caught with a fishing rod.

Corwin reeled in the massive ray off the coast of Thailand during filming for an upcoming television program. The stingray, which was caught humanely and subsequently released, took two hours and the help of several men to reel in.

Experts believe that the stingray could be among the largest freshwater fish in the world.
