Sharks 3-D
To learn more about megalodon, the largest flesh-eating fish that ever lived, top scientists and divers embark on an oceanic expedition to study its relative, the great white. A shark the length of two school buses, megalodon roamed the seas for 25 million years before it became extinct. Or did it? Through stunning visuals and 3-D footage, Sharks 3-D exposes us to a world and to creatures many of us will never know.
Giants: Sharks
Giants: Sharks follows Shark Week host Nigel Marven as he dives with some of the greatest and most dangerous sharks known to humans. Plunging deep into South African waters, Nigel leaves the security of a safety cage to swim free with a great white, then dives into the freezing waters of the Arctic Ocean to confront the flesh-eating Greenland shark, so large that whole reindeer carcasses have been found inside its stomach.
Great White Down Under
From a storied history of attacks that began in the 1920s to the present, the notorious "white death" is Australian legend. Great White Down Under examines the history of the white shark in Australia, from gruesome encounters with humans to the latest research, and shows how scientists are learning more about the behavior of great whites by tagging them and then following their migrations and movements.
Shark Attack Files II
Though rare, shark attacks do occur. Through news clips, dramatic shark footage and interviews with surviving victims, Shark Attack Files II examines shark attacks around the world and attempts to explain why they happen.
Jurassic Shark
Watch the evolutionary history of the shark unfold over millions of years. Through 3-D imaging and illustrations, Jurassic Shark introduces viewers to unusual prehistoric creatures with brush-like appendages, circular tooth saws and even wings, then features several modern-day species, including nurse, lemon and tiger sharks.
Great White: The Elusive Giant
The great white shark has been feared, admired and hunted, but ultimately this legendary predator faces its last era on Earth its existence threatened by humans. Great White: The Elusive Giant follows shark experts, divers and cinematographers around the globe as they search for the "giant" sharks of legend, and in turn expose the plight of today's great white.
Wolves of the Sea: White Sharks
In the South Pacific Ocean lie the Chatham Islands, home to the great white shark. Thought to be lone hunters, great whites here are challenging convention: A pattern of local attacks suggests that the sharks are living and hunting in packs like wolves, a potential sign of an elaborate social structure and advanced intelligence. Wolves of the Sea: White Shark follows scientists and local divers as they investigate an apparent pack of mature males and try to uncover the true nature of the great white shark.
