About our guests:

Barry BruceBarry Bruce is a research scientist with CSIRO Marine Research in Hobart, Tasmania, in Australia. Barry co-leads a series of projects with CSIRO's John Stevens on the biology and movement patterns of white sharks in southern Australia.

George H. BurgessGeorge H. Burgess is coordinator of museum operations at the Florida Museum of Natural History, University of Florida, and director of the International Shark Attack File. Dr. Burgess' research interests include shark conservation and nearshore sharks.

Richard Lund is a professor in the department of biology and director of the program in environmental studies at Adelphi University. Since 1969 he has been excavating the fossil fishes, including sharks, imbedded in the limestone of Bear Gulch in Montana.

George Powell is an amateur paleontologist from Virginia who has collected a large assortment of shark fossils.
