Annabelle Pratt is a senior power research engineer with Intel Labs. She is currently with the Energy Systems Research Lab where she is working on the development of energy management algorithms for buildings and microgrids, comprehending the impact of high penetration levels of electric vehicles.
She has been with Intel since 2004 and has worked on technologies and architectures to improve the efficiency of power delivery in servers and data centers as well as digital control of voltage regulators.
Prior to Intel, she was with Advanced Energy Industries where she developed power supplies for the semiconductor manufacturing and architectural glass coating industries.
She received the Bachelor's and Master's degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Oregon State University. She is a senior member of the IEEE.
