Parker Schnabel

The Young Master

Parker Schnabel

AGE: 19

Parker Schnabel has grown up with gold fever. Ever since he can remember, Parker’s beloved grandpa, 94-year-old John Schnabel, has been running Big Nugget, the family's Alaskan gold mine. Since Parker’s feet could reach the pedals, he’s been operating heavy machinery and learning the trade.

At just 16 years old Parker took the reins of the family mine, and showed he had the mettle to lead a team of grizzled miners twice his age, and the ability to find serious gold.

A keen outdoorsman, last year instead of going to college, Parker used his college fund to set-up his own mining operation, and found an impressive 1,029 ounces of gold in his rookie season in the Klondike.

This year, at just 19, Parker’s ambition knows no bounds. He wants to put to rest any idea that he’s too young to play with the big boys, by blowing the competition all away. Parker plans to negotiate a better deal with his landlord, mining legend Tony Beets, but Tony isn’t the kind who does anyone any favors.

Parker has vowed he won’t let anything stop him reaching his new season goal of an incredible 2000 oz.
