Jeremy grew up in Louisiana where he learned a love for the outdoors at a young age. His dad would always take him hunting and fishing as far back as he can remember. It taught him a lot of survival skills as well as an appreciation for the lifestyle. He would learn tracking and trapping animals by following his father along the way.
Throughout high school, Jeremy's love grew more for sportsman paradise. It wasn't long before he fell in love with waterfowl hunting. No matter what month of the year, you can find him in the woods or on the water doing what he is passionate about. From gator hunting in the early fall, deer hunting in the winter, spring fishing for largemouth bass to frog grabbing, and crawfishing in the summer, you can bet he will be in the middle of it.
Knowing how to live off the land is important to Jeremy because he wants to pass this knowledge down to his kids to show them that nature will provide your needs if you respect her. His uncle taught him how to snare wild hogs and several other animals as a way to provide for some much needed calories while out on his journey.
Jeremy has been married since 1996 and has three beautiful kids: two daughters and one son to whom he is passing down his love of the outdoors.
Jeremy is looking forward to this challenge to test his skill in an environment he has never been in to see how he and his partner will hold up under tough circumstances. He also looks forward to showing his kids that you can do whatever you set your mind to.
