Discovery, in partnership with Abramorama, continues to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII with an additional virtual screening of APOCALYPSE '45 with the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, Pacific Historic Parks, The National WWII Museum, and The New Mexico Military Museum.

From critically acclaimed filmmaker Erik Nelson, APOCALYPSE ‘45 recounts the end of World War II with never before seen footage and the voices of 24 men who lived through these events.

On Sept. 2, The National World War II Museum, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, the Pacific Historic Parks in Hawaii, The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, and the Center for Contemporary Arts will each host virtual screening events.

The film was created using 700 reels of digitally restored archival color footage from the vault in the National Archives and gives viewers a rare glimpse into the realities of war.
