Boyce Goff Jr.
Boyce Goff Jr. has always been curious about gold mining and prospecting since childhood, but it wasn’t until three years ago when his wife bought him a sluice box for Christmas, that he really caught the gold fever. Since then, Boyce spends his Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays consistently gold mining and prospecting in the bush with his buddies. He’s even started his own Youtube channel to document his findings and show off his big personality. His gold mining techniques include a sophisticated system of three-foot dredges, sluices, and condensers. Currently, Boyce works as a hospital security guard, and because of the hard work ethic instilled in him at a young age by his father, he is eligible for an upcoming promotion. However, his dream of spending months in the wilderness prospecting and mining will risk him moving up and may even cost him his job entirely. His training as a Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and in the Marine Corps have given him the survival skills necessary to rough it in the bush and always a lover of the outdoors, Boyce finds pleasure in hunting, fishing, camping and just spending time alone with nature. He uses his time alone to plan his mining, worry about his wife and children and reflect on the opportunities he’s been given in life. Boyce’s ambition, diligence and passion for gold mining will help to fulfill his dreams of being successful and making his father proud. Despite the dangers and challenges that come with gold mining, Boyce hopes to be mining for many years to come.
