Three couples take on three of the most difficult environments on earth with limited supplies. There's a violent windstorm in the desert mountains of Morocco, the climate is wet and cold in Norway and the bugs and rain create issues in the Mexican jungle.

With only the clothes on their backs and the gear in their bag, Jenny and Justin struggle to find their first meal in a week in Norway. Later, a raging forest fire forces Mitchell and Jhoanna to flee for their lives in Morocco while Max and Linn try to surpass their predecessors in Mexico.

Nearing the halfway point of their three-week survival challenge, Johanna and Mitchell traverse sixteen miles to find a safe camp only to encounter a sudden hail storm in Morocco’s high desert mountains. In the Arctic circle of Norway, Jenny and Justin’s plan to travel higher into the Senja mountains for better fishing backfires when a brutal ice storm rolls in, leaving them stranded without fir or food. And in the Mexican jungle, Max and Linn move deeper into the jungle to find much-needed protein -- but also newfound dangers.

In Morocco, Mitchell and Jhoanna endure a massive hailstorm before hunting for their biggest food victory yet. Justin and Jenny finally emerge from a three-day storm in Norway and in Mexico, Max and Linn experience a huge bounty -- and a betrayal.

In Morocco, Mitchell and Jhoanna embark on a trek through higher elevations only to have tempers flare. In Norway, Justin and Jenny try to outrun an Arctic storm while in Mexico, Max and Linn’s gamble to build a raft to float to civilization backfires.

In the final days of their challenge, survivalist couples make their final sprint to reach civilization. Jhoanna and Mitchell go their separate ways, Justin and Jenny get flooded out of their final camp And the medics must evaluate Max's declining health.
