Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell Welcome Fur Baby into Family

Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell rang in the new year with a new furry family member, a puppy named Piggy.

Powell, Irwin’s fiancée, shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday, revealing a new puppy, who appears to be a Cavalier King Charles spaniel, to the world.

In Powell’s post, he welcomes the “newest and cutest family member,” adding, “can’t wait to begin the new decade giving this sweetheart the happiest and most loving home.”

Irwin commented, “my heart is overwhelmed with so much happiness and love ❤️ here’s to the next incredible life chapter.”

Irwin later shared a photo of Piggy playing with her brother Robert’s pug, Stella, showing the two are already off to being best pals. Irwin captioned the photo, “my heart ❤️.”

Adopting Piggy is a first for the couple. Before this milestone, Irwin and Powell got engaged on Bindi’s 21st birthday in July.
