Pit Bulls & Parolees Returns to Animal Planet July 25th

By: Nesa Nourmohammadi

Tia Torres and the Villalobos Rescue Center family deal with new rescues, dogs, and obstacles when new season of PIT BULLS & PAROLEES kicks off Saturday, July 25.

June 13, 2020

With more than 30 years of animal rescue experience under her belt, you would think Tia Torres has seen it all. But she hasn’t seen anything yet as we will come to find out when PIT BULLS & PAROLEES returns to Animal Planet with new episodes Saturday, July 25th.

The show, which follows Tia and Villalobos Rescue Center in Louisiana, has been a mainstay on Animal Planet since its premiere in 2009. In that time, viewers have followed hundreds of rescues and adoptions, not to mention important family milestones, such as the weddings of Tia’s children. But in this upcoming season, the family’s professional and personal lives are thrown for a loop.

In the season premiere, Tia and the Villalobos team receive an unexpected call when a local adopter returns her new companion, Sweetcakes, soon after taking her home. The team also rescues Crawley, a well-behaved dog that was abandoned at a store after a man could no longer care for him, and Alicia, an extremely emaciated dog desperate for a second chance at life after she is left at the doorstep of the Villalobos dog boutique in the French Quarter.
