Who Will Be the Last One Standing?

Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing is back for a third season, featuring 14 fierce competitors who are returning to the wild. They're headed to the Australian outback to put their survival skills to the test. Ahead, get to know the folks rising to the occasion for a chance to win the crown, a coveted 10.0 Primitive Survival Rating and a $100,000 cash prize.

Darrin R.

Darrin is from Sheridan, Wyoming, though he's spent much of his adult life in Utah and Colorado. An avid mountain climber and a self-proclaimed "desert rat" and "mountain bum," Darrin likes to spend his time outdoors. One with nature, he's hopeful to become the last one standing this season.

Ky F.

Ky is from Adelaide, Australia. A lifelong survivalist, she has written various survival guides, including Survive, When the Grid Fails, Girl's Own Survival Guide and Surviving the First 36 Hours. In addition to sharing her knowledge via the written word, Ky is an outdoor guide in Australia. She also works as a stunt double and has appeared in more than 100 television shows and films, including Sons of Anarchy, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Avengers.

Kaila C.

Kaila is from Troy, New Hampshire. There, she grew up camping and hunting, honing her survivalist skills in the process. Today, Kaila works as a custom knifemaker. She has a shop, Iron & Oak, with her husband, Justin. Her family and passion for survival inspire her to go all in for the $100,000 prize.

Suzänne Z.

Suzänne is from rural Missouri. She learned the importance of survival skills at 16, when she dropped out of high school and left an unhealthy home life. Now, she holds a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy, an MBA in health care management and a Ph.D. in health sciences. With ample medical know-how and plenty of outdoor experiences under her belt, Suzänne's ready to approach this season with grit.

Trent N.

Trent is from North Ogden, Utah. Despite getting malaria, he epically survived for 40 days in South Africa's Selati Basin during Naked and Afraid XL Season 4. When he's not sharpening his survivalist skills, Trent works as a real estate agent. Commissions aside, he's hoping to take home this season's grand prize.

Patrick F.

Patrick is from Concord, New Hampshire. He currently resides in Maui, Hawaii. An avid hiker and a professional athlete, Patrick has backpacked more than 21,000 miles, pushing his body and mind to the limit as he traversed the long-distance trails.

Trish B.

Trish is from Port Monmouth, New Jersey. Then a mother of three teenagers, she wanted to put her mind and body to the ultimate challenge when she first set out to be a survivalist. That remains Trish's goal going into this season.

Laura Z.

Laura is from Western Massachusetts, but she calls Montana and New Hampshire home — that is, when she's not embarking on her preferred nomadic lifestyle. A true survivalist and backcountry specialist, Laura lives off the grid for a month every year for a "civilization detox," so 45 days is just about a cakewalk in her eyes.

Jermaine J.

Jermaine keeps his life fairly private, but we know he splits his time between Virginia and Texas. His public Instagram account suggests he's a fan of hunting, search and rescue, and playing the guitar. Will he have what it takes to make it all 45 days this season?

Max D.

Max is from Seattle. Camping and hiking since the age of 8, Max has long loved the outdoors. He's hiked the 550-mile Washington section of the Pacific Crest Trail and traveled all over the world documenting his adventures. This season might just be his most intense yet. When Max isn't exploring the great outdoors, he's rallying for social justice and equity in the greater Seattle area.

Kaiela H.

Kaiela is from Lakewood, Seattle, and now resides in Colorado. According to an interview with the Seattle Times, she applied to be on Naked and Afraid as a way to challenge herself and get in touch with her core human instincts. This season's survival challenges are sure to hold her to the task.

Matt W.

Matt is from Lakewood, Colorado. Also known as "The Savage," he has tactical military training from his time in the Air Force, not to mention more than 250 days on Naked and Afraid under his belt. Matt also owns a survivalist store in Lakewood called Extreme Instinct Knives and Survival.

Cheeny P.

Cheeny is from Sanford, Maine. During her time in the Air Force, she became an SERE specialist — someone who trains others in "Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape." This season, she's back and ready to fight for the grand prize.

Jamie F.

Jamie is from Scotland, making him the first person from the UK on Naked and Afraid. As a lifeguard, survival instructor and bushcraft expert, Jamie knows how to weather the terrain. He's ready to prove it on this season of Last One Standing.
