Shark-infested seas and intense tropical storms terrorize the survivalists causing one challenger to contemplate quitting. Duke, James and Gabrielle decide to take a risky journey on the high seas while the newly merged team of six realizes that more people means more mouths to feed. Jeff and Laura continue to thrive as they remain committed to their team of two.

Russell falls ill after eating too many lemons and Riley finds herself alone after both her teammates tap-out. Dwindling resources force the survivalists on a trek through the dense jungle to get closer to the eventual extraction point. On the way, they encounter venomous snakes and caves inhabited by hundreds of bats.
No Hand-Outs
Charlie leaves the camp in a huff after an argument with his fellow survivalists, and tensions rise in the second cave when Team Jeff and Laura gloat and refuse to share their food or hooks. Later, the two larger groups meet and share resources but both are still battling starvation.
Hike Into Hell
The Six-Pack is devastated after Russell is forced to tap-out due to a snake bite and Laura shocks Jeff when she changes the terms of their deal. Later, the three teams decide to join-up for the next leg of their hike towards the extraction point.
Jeff's Worst Nightmare
Jeff is dismayed to hear that Laura wants them to join the larger group to finish out their 60-day challenge. Duck makes an alarming decision regarding Charlie and one of the survivalists falls asleep too close to the fire. Later, the team comes up with a fair system to divide their food catches.
