Meet the Puppy Bowl XXI Adoptable Pets!

Meet Alaska - Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association
Alaska is just 13 weeks old, born on Halloween. There's nothing spooky about this adorable Great Pyrenees mix though - he is a fuzzy bundle of love! His favorite toys are the ones that squeak the loudest, and he loves to pounce on them! He is ready to find a home and grow up to be a sweet companion. His fur is white as snow, which is perfect as he blends in when he plays in the snowy weather in the West Virginia Mountains he currently calls home.
Meet Crumby - The Feline Connection
Crumby, the dashing grey mackerel tabby kitten, is a true survivor. Born under the watchful eye of his entrepreneurial mama, Frazzle, (who clearly has a knack for finding cozy spots – namely, under a short-term vacation rental screen porch behind a convenience store), this sweet soul braved the elements with his brother Hyperfreeze and sister Berry Backlash until a kind human from the store started feeding them and reached out to The Feline Connection for help.
Rescued on a frigid late December Vermont evening (talk about a chill dude!), Crumby initially approached life with the caution of a seasoned convenience store clerk. Timid at first, he'd size you up with a skeptical glance and a big sniff, ensuring you weren't a threat to his stash of lickable treats (a discerning palate runs in the family).
But don't let his initial reserve fool you. This cuddlebug warms up quickly, especially if you're armed with a playful toy, treats and the promise of a good wrestle with his siblings.
With a very soft coat, Crumby is ready to purr his way into your heart. Just remember to approach with gentle movements – this cat appreciates his personal space, just like any good entrepreneur. He is gaining more confidence every single day! After rescue he quickly started playing and eating lickable treats from his foster mom’s hand. He loves getting pets already and by game day he will have a lot more socialization time learn how wonderful life with humans can be.
P.S. Crumby's ideal home? One with a comfy sunny spot to observe the world, tons of toys, lots of playtime with his people, cozy places to sleep and yummy food. And did we mention he comes with a built-in purr motor?
Meet Dasher - spcaLA
Dasher arrived at spcaLA on a warm Southern California day in December with his mother and three siblings. Even at one-month-old, Dasher was destined for Puppy Bowl greatness as he was shaped like a football. After three nights in the shelter, the whole family was picked-up by one of spcaLA’s outstanding fosters. The pups and their mom spent the holidays in a home.
Dasher is settling into his role of puppy perfectly. He loves to eat, sleep and play. His two sisters and brother are the best playmates, but he is learning toys bring a lot of fun, too. He loves chicken! And cuddles and rubs on his rotund belly. He has the sweetest face and fur the color of caramel. He’s a spunky potato! He’d be perfect for any family interested in having the love, joy, and responsibility a puppy provides.
Meet Destiny - Bella Vista Animal Shelter
Destiny is a young puppy that needs a family that is patient, attentive, and committed to providing round-the-clock care as she grows and develops. She is fun-loving and likes cats, with supervision. The ideal home should be calm, with a dedicated space for the puppy that is safe, warm, and free from hazards. Since puppies are still learning basic socialization and manners, the family should have time to provide consistent training, socialization, and supervision. Access to soft bedding, age-appropriate toys, and proper nutrition is essential to support their growth. Families with older children or experienced pet owners who understand the demands of a young puppy would be best, as young children may not yet grasp how to handle a delicate puppy safely. If other pets are in the home, they should be gentle and well-socialized. A secure yard or safe outdoor space is ideal for supervised exploration as the puppy gets older and starts learning about the world.
Meet Gabe - Underdog Pet Rescue of Wisconsin
Gabe is a sweet 12-week old boy. An adorable mix of breeds that surely equal "good boy," he loves to play, snooze and snuggle. He has a beautiful white-and-brindle coat, wide and happy eyes, and an adorable 20lb frame.
Gabe the Babe loves to be held, work for treats, and zoom around the back yard. He is working on house training and basic puppy skills in his loving foster home. He’s also getting acquainted with leash walking and napping in a crate.
Gabe’s ideal home would be one that will usher him in with love, patience, and playfulness. He is doing great with dogs of all ages and sizes.
Meet Layne - Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue
Huddle together, my furiends, and meet Layne, team Scruffy Paws number one draft pick! At just 12 weeks old, this long-haired calico is the Gronk-catski of her generation, known for being fun-loving, curious, observant on the field, and having a mind of her own.
Her endless energy makes her the captain of her team, from tackling kitten teammates to running with sparkle balls. She’s a master of the laces – shoelaces, that is, untying them is her special talent. Layne is a champion eater – pop that can of food, and she comes running through the line of scrimmage! Touchdown! Layne’s purrfect home team would be a family that plays and snuggles with her on and off the field; there should be another feline friend in the home who can match her energy!
Meet Lizzie - Watermelon Mountain Ranch Animal Center
Senior dog Lizzie was originally named Nippi, she went into the municipal shelter as a found stray. She was severly matted wearing a collar w/a tag with her name on it but no other information. She was not microchipped and no one came forward for her. She would love a gentle and mellow home to enjoy her sunset years. She loves a good nap and prefers dogs her own speed. Young children make her nervous, so she would also like an all adult household. She does allow soft/gentle pets and it is going to take her some time to adjust and trust. She does not like to be quickly handled, walks OK on the leash and will allow us to dress her up. She is super duper docile. We work closely with municipal shelters throughout the state and when I saw her photo online, I knew she had to join us. She does have a stage 4 heart murmur but does not currently require any medication.
Meet Monkey Beau - Purrfect Pals
At 9 years old, Beau is the MVP of the feline league! This social butterfly is your ultimate teammate—always ready to bring the energy and charm to any huddle. Beau is on long-term "game plan" meds and a prescription diet to tackle stress-related grooming issues and food allergies.
Known for his incredible speed, Beau is a pro sprinter who dominates the cat wheel like it's his personal training camp! When he's not scoring touchdowns on his wheel, Beau loves relaxing in cozy laps or basking in sunny "end zones."
Beau's ideal coach (a.k.a. adopter) will appreciate his boundless energy and know how to keep him in the game. Like all Purrfect Pals recruits, Beau comes fully "draft-ready"—altered, microchipped, viral-tested, and vaccinated.
Meet Oscar - Hope Animal Rescue
Oscar is the ultimate unGrouch—he's a bundle of joy and a total lovebug! This super happy baby boy adores everyone he meets, spreading smiles wherever he goes. Oscar is as smart as he is sweet, already mastering pee pad training and doing a fantastic job asking to go outside when nature calls. He’s also a champ at sleeping quietly in his crate, whether it’s during your busy work meetings or through the night.
Oscar has a playful and adventurous spirit! He loves nothing more than a good game of fetch or tug-of-war, keeping his tail wagging and his heart full. Because he’s still so young, Oscar would thrive in a home with someone who can be around most of the time to help him continue learning and growing. He’d be over the moon to have a canine sibling to show him the ropes, but it's not a dealbreaker—what Oscar needs most is love and attention.
If you're ready to add an affectionate, smart, and playful pup to your life, Oscar might just be your perfect match. Don’t wait—apply to adopt Oscar today and give this sweet boy the loving home he deserves!
Meet Puff - Rescue City
Puff was rescued at 10 weeks old along with three other littermates from a home in the city that had an accidental litter of Husky/Eskimo Mix Puppies. He has grown and learned so much in his foster home, and at 5 Months Old is now the last of his littermates still looking for a home! Puff adores kisses and affection and is an A+ listener. He loves treats, loves other dogs and is such a social butterfly! He is now a little over 20 pounds and has the cutest coat and little nose. He is up to date on all of his puppy vaccines, and will be the best friend to anyone who is ready to adopt him!
Meet Rose - HASRA
Rose was part of a litter of five puppies that were about two months old when they were found abandoned by the side of a country road, in imminent danger of being struck by cars or freezing in the cold weather. It was a rural area notorious for being a dumping ground for unwanted pets. A kind neighbor rescued them and took them home to get warm and fed. HASRA was notified and we received the puppies into one of our puppy foster homes within a few days.
Rose and her siblings have been thriving since rescued by HASRA. She loves to play with her littermates but if a human is nearby, she will often prefer attention of the two legged variety! She seems to have just the right amount of playful puppy energy while also being able to relax and snuggle in your arms. Rose isn’t bothered by new situations either! She recently had her first encounter with snow and immediately went out for a short hike without hesitation.
Rose is ready to be a part of your family and live her best life after such a rough start.
Meet Rockne - Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Group
Rockne is a Scottie who is wheaten/cream in color.
His birthdate is 09/24/24 & he currently weighs 12 lbs and still growing.
As he became an older puppy, he was relinquished to rescue to find a forever home after being neutered.
Rockne is a typical Scottie who is independent and inquisitive by nature. He has loved everyone he meets and has also been good with other dogs.
This boy loves to play with toys, but will improvise with your folded laundry, important papers or his own tail if he gets bored!
But if you love a terrier, his happy demeanor & smiling eyes, will win you over despite any mischievous choices he might make.
Meet Sampson - Eastwood Ranch Foundation
Meet Sampson, a 2-month-old, 12 pound, Lab and Border Collie mix that was rescued from a high intake shelter. This little cutie is full of energy and is always up for a good play session, especially if it involves his favorite toys. Sampson is a curious and happy pup who loves to explore his surroundings and is never without a wagging tail. When he's not playing, you can find him soaking up the sun, basking in the warmth like the little ray of sunshine he is. WIth his unique one blue eye and playful personality, Sampson is sure to bring joy to any family that's ready to take on the responsibility and care of a new puppy!
Meet Watson - A Friend of Jack Rescue
Say hello to Watson! This sweet boy is a Border Collie Mix that was found as a stray in rural Kansas along with a few of his siblings (who we also helped rescue). His estimated DOB is 11/5/24. He's a handsome fella with so much love to give. He adores meeting new friends (human and animal) and is quite the snuggler. He is learning potty training and crate training but is a smart boy and learns quickly. He would do best in a home with another dog to show him the ropes and an active family ready to put in the work raising a healthy and happy puppy.
