Virtual Pet Adoption is Here!

Online dating not your thing? Fair enough, but what about finding other love online?

May 28, 2020

There has never been a better time to add a furry member to your family and thanks to Best Friends Animal Society, it’s never been easier.

From May 27-31, the organization will be hosting “Find Love Online” a first-of-its-kind national adoption event. Best Friends is partnering with 250 shelters and rescues across the country that will be showcasing their adoptable animals, all in one virtual location. Interested people will have the chance to meet pets online and complete the adoption process from the comfort of their own homes. All you have to do is go on to the website and enter your area code to find the available dogs and cats nearest to you.

Not only do animals get a new lease on life when they are rescued, there are so many positive benefits to being a pet parent! According to the CDC, blood pressure, cholesterol, and levels of loneliness can all decrease as a result of pet ownership. There are numerous perks to having animals and now it is easier than ever to find your next furry companion.
