JJ Da Boss is Race Master for the Largest Purse in Street Outlaws’ History

Street Outlaws: Fastest In America premieres January 20 on Discovery.

Eight of the fastest teams in America fight for a winner-takes-all purse of $100,000 – the highest payout in street racing history. Welcome to Street Outlaws: Fastest In America, an all-new Discovery Channel series where the best of the best descend on Memphis for a shot to ultimately take on JJ Da Boss and the MSO — with the winner bringing home the big money prize and the prestige of being called the baddest on the streets.

Handpicked by JJ Da Boss, street racing bosses from South Carolina, St. Louis, Kentucky, Mississippi, Detroit, NOLA, Texas and the Northeast – each claiming to be king of the streets – have assembled their teams in Memphis for the chance to prove their racing chops once and for all. With both small and big tire cars, a mixed bag of racers including Texas’ Birdman, NOLA’s Kye Kelley, and Detroit’s Chucky Davis, Street Outlaws: Fastest In America is the ultimate faceoff.

To prove they’re the fastest in America, these racers will quickly learn it’s not a matter of how fast your car goes or what’s under the hood – but how much they know about the street and its surface. Along the way, drivers rely on their street-hustle tactics and strategies to get under the skin of their rivals—talking trash to gain the mental advantage.

“Fancy cars don’t mean anything,” explains JJ Da Boss. “You need to keep your head together in the street.”

All the while, Team Memphis observes each team’s plan of attack and plots for their turn at the starting line. In a competition where you’re only as good as the rest of your team, the stakes have never been higher. High intensity, insane pressure, and extreme emotions rule in this extreme Street Outlaws showdown, and only the best street racing team will make it to the finish line.

Street Outlaws: Fastest In America premieres Monday, January 20 at 8pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel.

Catch a special sneak preview of the new series during a super-sized edition of Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings on Monday, November 4 at 8pm ET/PT. Sustainable Aviation Will Reduce Jet Fuel Emissions to Zero

Zero carbon flights are the ultimate goal for an airline industry that relies heavily on fossil fuels. Aviation pumps out at least 2.5 percent of global carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions today. Sustainable aviation fuels will shrink the industry’s climate risk by 2030, but zero-emissions fuels like hydrogen are beginning to emerge.

Green Hydrogen Will Fuel the World’s Zero-Carbon Industries

One of the challenges in establishing a zero-emission green hydrogen network in the US is stabilizing supply and storage. Retrofitting Older Cars with Electric Motors Could Transform Transport

Low emission battery-powered electric cars are still a tiny fraction of all cars sold despite offering cheaper running costs and eco-friendly credentials. The higher purchase price is one reason, but retrofitting older cars and trucks with electric motors could be the fix needed to turbocharge electric vehicle uptake.

Hydrogen Ready to Ignite as Transport Network and Technology Takes Off

Transport is undergoing a massive transformation so it can meet society’s demands for a low-carbon economy. Introducing electric vehicles (EVs) and declining gasoline and diesel use are helping, but zero-carbon hydrogen can speed up both the transition and long-term decarbonization of transport.
