"Big Chief" Justin Shearer

Word on the street used to be that Big Chief doesn't race No Prep, but The Crow couldn't resist for long. Chief is hitting the track in his 1970 Pontiac GTO, affectionately nicknamed "The Judge" for his No Prep Kings run.

Ryan Martin

Ryan Martin came close to taking the title during No Prep Kings first season, but he was outrun by Birdman. With the team behind him for his third time around, he's feeling more confident than ever before. Martin drives the Fireball Camaro, a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro with a Pro Line 481X engine and Precision twin turbos.

Jeff Lutz

Lutz is a formidable competitor whether it's on the street or on the track. He drives a twin turbo 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air with a 540ci Big Block Chevy engine.

Chuck Seitsinger

Seitsinger has served as the race master for the No Prep Kings competition since its debut. He races a 1989 Ford Mustang with twin turbos.

Monza

Monza is representing OKC in his 1972 Z28 Chevrolet Camaro known as the "Sinister Split Bumper".

Dominator

You'll rarely see Dominator's 1967 Dodge Dart with its hood on, but inside it boasts a 582ci twin turbo engine with a TH400 transmission and a Ford 9-Inch in the rear.

Daddy Dave Comstock

Daddy Dave brought Goliath 2.0 back to the track. His 1963 Chevy Nova is fitted with a 481X twin turbo engine and more attitude than the street can handle.

James "Doc" Love

Doc's Street Beast is a 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo sitting on big tires and a bigger ego.

Kamikaze Chris

Kamikaze brought the Elco back, but he's traded in the nitrous boost for some badass twin turbos to compliment the Elco's 903ci engine.

Chuck 55

Chuck's red 1955 Chevrolet has a 880ci Sonny's HEMI with five stages of nitrous to boost.

Robin Roberts

Roberts is out of Kansas City, but this year he's aligned himself with Team 405 for the win. He drives a 1968 Pontiac Firebird that was recently converted from nitrous to a 481X twin turbo engine.

Chris Poncia

"Cali Chris" is from Napa, California and driving for Team 405 this year after a unbelievable sleeper win against Birdman at Galot Motorsports Park last year. He'll be racing a 1989 Ford Mustang.

Retrofitting Older Cars with Electric Motors Could Transform Transport

Low emission battery-powered electric cars are still a tiny fraction of all cars sold despite offering cheaper running costs and eco-friendly credentials. The higher purchase price is one reason, but retrofitting older cars and trucks with electric motors could be the fix needed to turbocharge electric vehicle uptake.
