August 04, 2020

Discovery is transforming the classic game of Dodgeball into an epic sporting adventure. Underdogs, your chance at glory is finally here. Digital star and TV personality David Dobrik hosts this competition series along with co-hosts Erin Lim and former NFL wide receiver Andrew Hawkins, and together introduce an all-new arena where everyday people become heroes.

DODGEBALL THUNDERDOME premieres Wednesday, August 19 at 9P on Discovery.

"Dodgeball was always everyone’s favorite game in gym class and hosting this show brings back many sweaty memories of dominating in Vernon Hills,” Dobrik says. No longer picked last, the adult competitors range from seasoned athletes to those who’ve never thrown a ball in their life. In order to win they will need a secret weapon - the drive to win.

After a run on the course and face off, the final episode will culminate in a tournament of champions that brings back all previous winners to compete for a $25,000 cash prize. Viewers will also have a change at prize money. In true David Dobrik fashion, each episode of DODGEBALL THUNDERDOME will reveal a special code that will allow the Discovery audience to enter for chance to win $5,000 cash.
