In Memory of Jesse Goins from Gold Rush: Dave Turin's Lost Mine

By: Discovery

Seasoned Montana gold prospector Jesse Goins has sadly passed at the age of 60.

August 20, 2020

A cherished member of GOLD RUSH: DAVE TURIN'S LOST MINE, Jesse Goins died suddenly while working at Box Creek mine in Colorado on August 18, 2020.

Jesse joined Dave's operation midway through the first season of Lost Mine and continued working with the crew into the second season as the gold room operator.

The lifelong miner teamed up with Dave Turin after bringing him to Grasshopper Creek Montana in 2018.

When Dave started his new operation he chose Jesse to take over the hugely trusted role of running the gold room.

Beloved among Dave's crew, Jesse was asked to take over as a heavy equipment operator to help the Turin Team realize their dream of striking paydirt in U.S. mines.

The cast and crew are devastated by the loss of a genuinely good and humble man who radiated humor, skill, and integrity to all who were lucky enough to know him.
