The whereabouts of this significant piece of biblical history has long puzzled scholars and historians. Now, a brand new Science Channel series, SECRETS OF THE LOST ARK, follows a pioneering team of experts on a quest to reveal the secrets of the sacred artifact. Using the latest technology and following new leads, this team of experts will search for clues hidden in the most extraordinary places, not only in the Holy Land but also in the countries that surround it.

Did the Ark exist? What did the Ark look like? What was its purpose? Where did it go? And why has it remained such a mystery? These are the questions the team of experts will attempt to answer in this real-life treasure hunt.
