Just Keep Swimming!
Tigers are powerful swimmers and have been known to swim great distances to hunt or cross rivers.
Original is Best
No two tigers have the same pattern of stripes.
With adequate space, prey, and protection, tiger populations can rebound rapidly, making conservation work likely to succeed.
The tiger population has declined by 96% over the last century and there are currently only 3,890 tigers left in the wild.
Pick of the Litter
A tiger’s average litter size is 3-4 cubs.
Let Me Hear You Roar
A tiger’s roar can be heard as far as a mile away.
Tigers in the Wild
Since 2010, there has been an estimated increase of 690 tigers in the wild.
Safety in Numbers
A group of tigers is known as an “ambush” or “streak."
Tigers are the largest cats in the world.
