Hawaii‘s peak kayak fishing season kicks off. Andy and Rob tackle sharks and hunt for a huge tuna; Boogie and Jason battle off-shore currents at Kaena Point; Jon Jon sets out to catch a 500lb marlin; and freediver Kimi pursues an elusive octopus.
Tensions are starting to flair one week into Hawaii’s peak kayak fishing season. Jon Jon treads on Andy and Rob’s turf in pursuit of his 500 lb marlin; Kimi tries to break her Ono curse; and kayak fishing pioneer Isaac takes on a new partner.
Jon Jon must impress a local to gain access to a secret marlin hunting ground; Isaac braves Oahu's jungles to reach a Mahi treasure trove; Adam and Jason battle Kauai's unforgiving seas; and Kimi hunts an invasive species that's hindering her food supply.
Adam King and Jason Scmidt brave Kauai's rough seas to reach 40 Fathom Hook while competition heats up over on Oahu's West Side. Isaac Brumaghim teams up with Kimi Werner to hunt mahi mahi, the Uyeda brothers hook a 145-pound marlin and sparks fly when Boogie D invades Isaac's turf.
The tuna run hits the Big Island and the race is on. Isaac Brumaghim goes for 100 pounders with Andy King and Rob Wong Yuen, Jon Jon Tabon puts marlins on hold to get in on the action and Devin Hallingstad hooks a monster. Later, the guys get a last shot at their 100-pound ahi on Kauai.
With the end of the season approaching, Jon Jon Tabon is finally tested by a monster fish and Isaac Brumaghim gets creative to secure his biggest paycheck ever. Later, Boogie D gets caught in a life-or-death struggle and Kimi Werner revisits her spearfishing roots.
