Rubi is Rick's 9-year-old long-haired dachshund, inherited from Rick's mother, who passed away in 2018. Rubi's favourite toy, given to her by Rick's mom, is a pickle wearing a Santa hat. Rick's sewn it back together many times, but now Rubi is more careful with it.
Rubi is loving toward most people, but ever since Karla and Rick play-fought last season, Rubi can't stand Karla and will bark and growl whenever she's around.
