Here's How to Make Jane and Jewel's Delightful Herb Butter

Follow the step by step instructions below to enjoy some delicious herb butter.

Step 1: Milk a cow

Step 2: Let the milk sit until cream forms on top. Remove the cream for butter making. Save the remaining buttermilk to make cheese.

Step 3: Put the cream in a churn (or shake it in a jar) and churn/shake it for approximately 15-20 minutes until it turns into butter.

Step 4: Finely chop the following and add to the fresh butter:

Amounts “to taste”:

  • garlic
  • marjoram
  • basil
  • oregano
  • thyme

Step 5: Spread on bread or a cracker. Enjoy!
