Winter is quickly approaching the Devil's Canyon area of British Columbia and temperatures are dropping fast. Extreme mining experts Ben van der Valk and Boyce Goff are forced to stop hunting gold and start insulating their shelters in order to survive. Ben is running out of food, but an unexpected snow gives him hope that he'll be able to finally track down some game. A promising dig site motivates Boyce to take a chance on hauling in his heavy mining equipment.
